About Department

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2010 offering Bachelor in Civil Engineering along with the inception of Institute. Later on the programs of Diploma in Civil Engineering and Post-Graduation in Structural Engineering were added from academic year 2014-15.

The Department of Civil Engineering is recognized as one of the major engineering department in the region. The department of Civil Engineering offers quality engineering education based on curriculum offered by AICTE and Gujarat Technological University (GTU). The Department has well equipped and state of the art laboratories to provide good experimental knowledge to students.

Most of the faculty members are life member of professional bodies and societies in various fields of Civil Engineering. The department has signed a MoU with various national and international organisation for collaborative research work. The department encourages the faculty members to update their field knowledge though attending various training programs.

Department has organized many workshop, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for over-all development of Students. The Department has good and active alumni, placed at good positions in Reputed Construction Company; Educational institutes, research institutes and a successful entrepreneur. Many of our pass out students have received scholarships for oversees studies countries such as USA, UK, Australia, Canada and various parts of Europe. The department also provides an opportunity for students in improving knowledge of software like Auto CAD, ETABS and STAAD PRO. Department have organised Industrial Training and site visit for students to gain practical knowledge and understand field constraints. The department organizes a State level technical festival “STRUGNITE” for the students, by the students.
