About HJD science and commerce college
HJD Institute, (initially HJD Science College), a private science and commerce college has come into existence from the year 2017 with an aim to give quality education in the remote area of Kutch district. HJD Institute is located at a distance of 23 Km from Bhuj-Kutch.
Affiliated to the KSKV Kutch University, at present the college offers 3 Year degree program B.Sc. (Hons) in Micro Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as a specialization. In commerce stream, the college offers 3 Year degree program B.Com. in Accountancy as a specialization.
The institution believes in the strong linkage between training, education and action for sustainable development. Education is the key to enhance the knowledge that creates both opportunities as well as ability to make right choices. We aims to create an institution committed excellence and producing students with the ability to think critically and communicate effectively. Library And Resource Centre
The Library and Resource Centre (LRC) at HJD is community space for all members of the institute. The LRC is designed to support silent and individual learning as well as group work. The LRC has its own large courtyard which is a great discussion and exploration space.
Sports Areas & Ammenities
The skillful and qualified coaches teach the students true sportsmanship which helps develop their character introduces them to the virtues of team spirit and teaches them to be humble in victory and optimistic in defeat.Thus HJD places high importance on sports and play as a key element in learning experience.
Hostel Facilities
To avoid the inconvenience caused to the students in daily travelling to and from the college, particularly to those residing at faraway places from the college separate facility of hostel for boys in the campus.Facilities like total Buildings : 2, Well furnished Rooms: 53, Excellent dining facilities 3 times a day, all together a state of art infrastructure.
Class Rooms
Classrooms are important locations for learning activities to happen. At HJD Science & Commerce College our classrooms are not traditional. Each classroom is designed to be as flexible as possible in terms of the types of activities that it can support. All classes are ICT enabled with projectors, screens and Wi-Fi.

We have established highly advanced science laboratories for all grades with advanced equipment appropriate for international curriculum.
